Rebecca's love and passion for teaching students to be entertainers and gain self confidence is the reason she opened Precision. Her background in dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, plays and sports has instilled in her the principles of hard work, dedication and a "no quit" attitude. She started choreography at the young age of 13. She has taught competitive routines in cheer and dance for the past 20 years. She believes in good sportsmanship at all times. As a result, PDC has won multiple Sportsmanship Awards at competitions along with choreography, precision, entertainment and costume awards. Her attention to detail, story telling and appropriateness sets her studio apart from the rest.
MEGAN BRANCH - CONTEMPORARY, JAZZ & TECHNIQUE
Megan is a native of Arizona and has been dancing since age 3. She has spent most of her training years at Dance Connection Too. Over the past 5 years she has been fortunate to have professional opportunities including photo shoots, choreography and performance. She has won multiple full ride scholarships to dance conventions and seminars. She has worked with some of the top choreographers in the country including Dee Caspary, Nick Lazzarini, Travis Wall, Justin Giles and Ashley Valerio.Megan just recently returned from Carnival Cruise Lines assisting for Celebrity Dance Company.In the summer of 2011 she has placed in the top 3 at West Coast Dance Explosion National Competition and is one of their Elite Dancers.She is one of a select group that will be performing in the Ace Dance Awards Summit in New York City the end of July 2011. Megan is very versatile in dance styles.Contemporary & Jazz is her favorites, however, she is extensively trained in ballet, tap, lyrical & musical theatre as well. Megan has been blessed with a natural talent in movement and choreography and looks forward to an exciting career as a professional dancer & teacher.Her style is truly unique, powerful and inspiring.Students training under her will gain her passion for dance and blossom with a new outlook on stylistic training combined with untouchable technique. She is thrilled and proud to use her talents and grow as a professional at PDC.
HARRISON STEVENSON: CONTEMPORARY, LYRICAL & TECH
Harrison was raised in Phoenix, AZ.He started dancing at age six with a company called “Hip Hop Workshop”.A few years later started training at Arizona School of The Arts, which is a performing arts/college prep school.This is where he began intense ballet training at Ballet Arizona.Over the next couple of years he attended multiple ballet summer intensives including the “American Ballet Theater Intensive” in Detroit.His teen years he trained at Dance Connection and competed on their Sr. company.His next training took him to “Initial Existence”.This Company was based out of Master Ballet Academy, which is owned by the infamous Slawomir Wozniak; A world renowned Polish Ballet Dancer.After competing with Initial Existence, he began assisting Natasha Louis, a master technician & brilliant – creative choreographer.Last year he competed, taught & choreographed at Impact Dance in Mesa. Whether it was dances he performed in or choreographed and taught, his dances continued to be placed in top 5 overall.His favorite types of dance to teach are ballet/jazz technique, conditioning/strength and contemporary/lyrical. His energy is infectious and his passion is sure to stimulate higher goal setting in his students! He is passionate about body awareness, increasing flexibility & mobility to create a well-rounded dancer. He is looking forward to making this an amazing season at his new studio home, Precision Dance Company. LETS GOOO!!!!
JACODY BULLARD: TAP, MUSICAL THEATRE, JAZZ & TECHNIQUE
Born and raised in Arizona, Jacody Bullard started dancing at the age of 7.He has experience in all areas of dance in both the recreational and competitive sides of jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, tap and clogging.After dancing for so many years he realized that he wanted to be a teacher and choreographer.His choreography ranges from individual award winning solos to taking on entire musical productions such as Annie and the Wizard of Oz. When teaching Jacody has a strong emphasis on technique and cleanliness in class and choreography.Because of this, Jacody has won numerous awards and scholarships for his own dancing and choreography.He also has performed himself as the lead role in many musicals such as Horton in Seussical, Genie in Walt Disney’s Aladdin, Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and many more.He is wanting to share what he has learned in his love for the performing arts to be able to help others continue to reach passed their initial potential!
KYLE PRICE: HIP HOP
Kyle Price started his Hip Hop career at the age of 15 in recreational classes at a small studio behind the house of Rebecca Maguet, Precision. He competed with Precision for two dance seasons, placing st at several competitions in group routines, as well as duets, and trios. Kyle then went on to join a professional Dance Crew formerly known as Fresh 2 Def, and currently known as The Elektrolytes. From the summer of 2008 until now, Kyle has been competing and showcasing with the Elektrolytes up and down the West Coast. Placing 1st at Hip Hop Competitions such as: BoogieDaBeat, Ventdetta, 104.7‘s Valley’s Best Dance Crew, NBL: Kingz of Choreo, Hip Hop for Haiti, and many more. In the school year of 2009-2010 Kyle and The Elektrolytes went on a “High School Tour” that allowed him to perform at over 20 High Schools, and motivate thousands of teens to always follow their dreams and pursue their passions. The Elektrolytes just placed 1s in the United States at Hip Hop Internationals 2011 & 8th in the World! Kyle has been on several local news stations for his talents in dance, and was also recently featured on the TV Show “America’s Got Talent”. In January of 2011 Kyle founded his own Dance Crew called E.D.C. that is composed of young adults from a youth ministry that Kyle helps lead. Kyle plans on taking E.D.C. around the Valley to perform at Children’s Hospitals, Nursing Homes etc, using his talents to give back to the community as much as possible. Kyle has and always will use his gift of dance to inspire and motivate the people around him, through teaching and performing. Now he has returned to PDC and is excited to bring hip hop to the next level!
HUMBERTO BANDERA: BALLET
Company ballet instructor. Humberto is originally from Cuba and received his training there through a very disciplined ballet program from a very young age. His extensive training has provided him opportunities to be cast into numerous professional ballets in addition to his teaching expertise. He moved to Arizona to dance with Ballet Arizona in 2006. Since then, he has continued his love for ballet training and performing throughout the valley by teaching students how to discipline their body and mind in this beautiful style of dance. His classes are extremely technical with an emphasis on control, grace and strength. We are thrilled to have Humberto at PDC!
KATLYNN STAHL: RECREATIONAL TEACHER
Katlynn Stahl began dancing at the age of two. Growing up she trained in all areas of dance such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and tap. She won many awards at competitions and also was a part of the Encore Elite Dancers at their Nationals. She has been assisting Nikole Stahl, an award winning choreographer, for the past 4 years. Katlynn is teaching at studios in the valley an also is in college at Chandler Gilbert to get her degree in Elementary Education. She teaches jazz, technique, jazz funk, lyrical and tap. Her passion is teaching, choreography and inspiring other dancers to live out their dreams. Katlynn is thrilled to be apart of the staff at PDC!
KELSEY HAGAN: 7 & UNDER RECREATIONAL TEACHER
Kelsey loves to perform, learn and teach the diverse art of dance. She has completed thirteen years of dance instruction in classes including ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, musical theatre, pointe and hip hop. As an eight year competitive soloist, Kelsey has won numerous first place awards, Hall Of Fame All Star recipient, Cathy Roe Producer's Dream Company recipient, The PUlse full scholarship recipient, and won the only full scholarship to Pacific Coast Dance Fest for 2011. Kelsey spent this past summer dancing at National Conventions and Intensives, was a finalist for Performer of the Year for Co. Dance, recipient of the CTG TAlent Agent Award, and placed 5th with her solo nationally. For 2011-12, Kelsey will be an Assistant Teacher for the Master faculty of Co. Dance Conventions, and has just been signed by CTG Talent Agency in Los Angeles to begin auditions. She hopes to attend Cal State Long Beach in the future to obtain a dance degree and further her love of learning and performing the fine art of dance!
